Located "a couple of blocks from Millennium Park", this "pleasant" Downtown discovery can be "hard to find" thanks to "poor signage", but look for the El stop "directly across the street" and you'll be entering the "rich, oak-wooded" lobby in no time; "remodeled rooms" have Mission-style furniture, "high ceilings" and "spotless baths", and the staff often makes guests "feel like royalty" with complimentary "bottled water, daily breakfast" and "evening coffee/dessert" on weeknights, but a few fume over the lack of natural light in their chambers ("felt like a cave"), as well as the "subpar hallway appearance" and too "many" disruptions from maids "knocking on the door."
