The Maverick

I would not go out of my way to stay there again if I could find somewhere else to go.

The location is about a 10 minute drive to the Daytona Beach board walk area very nice. The hotel is on the beach we saw a beautiful morning sunrise over the Ocean. I asked at the front desk when checking in for an ocean view room. They said all of the rooms are ocean view. I would stay there again and recommend it to my fussiest of friends. Very clean, pretty, and romantic.

I liked the hotel especially the first room we stayed in. I didn't like the second room nor did I like the fact that I had to get up early to have to change rooms the next day for an untold reason.

Great place to stay! The only thing I would have changed is the size of the bed- only queen size- no king or doubles.

The staff was great. Went during bike week-of course-too loud but expected. The place was under remodeling but appeared half done in some places and left that way. Great location, remodeled rooms are romantic, this is a timeshare condos that are rented out, Saturdays are the start of a new week can be hectic. Ask when you check in if you will be staying in the same condo for the entire stay. We were moved as were several other people. ...read more

The Maverick is making a comeback. There is a concerted effort to bring rooms up to today's standard. My room was nice but they must take time to get the common space looking good.
