"Away from the crowds of Waikiki Beach", this renovated older tower appeals to those looking to be "close to everything but not in the middle of everything"; it's the "perfect location" for high-end shopping at the adjacent Ala Moana Center and just a "couple of blocks" from the beach, with "updated" accommodations that can be "quite nice" and a "pleasant" staff; P.S. "wonderful views" from some rooms are a bonus.

Close to the mall.
Our room was noisy.

We stay here often as my son is in treatment and the kids hospital and it is close to both the mall and hospital. The staff are helpful and considerate of our situation.

The people were so nice.
The rooms needs to be a little bigger.

The rooms are nice, but they are too small.

Clean, near waikiki and that was good for a walk.
As honeymooner we didn't get anything special, parking was not free.

The ala moana hotel has a parking area, but as guest you have to pay 15 dollars a day. Thats too much I think. It must be free.

Excellent location for shopping, eating, swimming at beach, jogging, walking and city busses.
Can't think of one thing.

This was one of the most pleasurable trips that we have taken to Hawaii. We visit Maui or Honolulu on an average of 4 times a year. This was one of the most enjoyable visits because we usually stay in a condi or at a hotel on Waikiki. This time we chose to stay near the Ala Moana Shopping Maul because we normally spend more time near this location and it turned out beautifully. Hope we can stay there again in the near future. ...read more

Clean.
No parking and too long to check in.

Rooms are nice, clean and small. Also, $20 for parking each night. They really should include parking with the room.

good bedding.

The hotel is clean and bright. It creates an atmosphere of casual classiness.
