Comfort Inn Gettysburg

Bad service, bad room and no help at all from the staff.

Nice pool, location not bad. The room took a can of Lysol to get the ashtray smell out of the air conditioner. My son dropped crumbs from a muffin and the maid didn't even vacuum the room.

It was OK for two nights.

For the price, they could change the filters in the A/C or at least have the opportunity to open the window. My son has mold alergies and the rooms wreaked of a mildew.

It is a hotel worthy of a quick stay. It is clean and the staff were cordial. It was easy to find and no problem to locate from the Highway. I paid for 24 hour use and only got 15 before check out. The business center they brag about in the brochure is

I would not recommend this hotel. When we arrived, the staff was standing around the front of the building smoking. It was pouring down rain and a staff member opened the front door for us while we were carrying luggage but not the next set of doors, so we had to put everything down to open those doors. The hallways smelled like cigarette smoke even though the hotel was supposed to be no smoking. The room looked like it needed painted and some of the furniture appeared worn and broken down.
