Employees were willing to go out of their way to make you comfortable.

No hot tub, no restaurant.

For the most part I was only there for one night. I had driven 10 1/2 hours to get to Murphy NC from St Petersburg FL and when I arrived around 1pm the clerk informs me that check in isn't until 3pm. This is not something I wanted to hear. I was tired and just wanted to rest a while before attending the business meeting I was there for. I told the clerk I guess I can drive around for the next few hours then come back. She then informed me that she might be able to find me a room! The room was clean and comfortable. I got to sleep a few hours and my meeting went well. In the morning when I went to the mini breakfast area the clerk on duty then was a very nice young lady who made the whole stay worth while. She was pleasantly conversational and she went out of her way to help me with preparing my waffle. What an asset she is to this hotel! The beds were very comfortable; no backache.

The free breakfast was horrible; doesn't seem any real effort was used; look at Hampton Inn.

Average to fair quality; the best part was that my husband and I both rested well. They were not able to give us a ground floor room although I had not requested that in advance.
