Business Traveler
Fantastic hotel. I was amazed I had never heard of it before. Small but very warm feeling, and the staff treated us better than many 4 star properties we have visited in the past.

Good value with the Priceline discount. Safe neighborhood, reasonably close to DC attractions; closest Metro stop about 10 minutes away. Room was clean and comfortable, but not comparable to 4 stars elsewhere. Lack of housekeeping attention to detail; on West coast time we did not leave the room until after 9AM each day, and for 4 days in a row the housekeeper knocked earlier and woke us up. Free coffee in the room, but only decaf. supplied all 4 days. ...read more

The location of the Madison is great for walking. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. The rooms are lovely with great attention to detail right down to the Keurig single serving in room coffee makers and luxury bedding. The parking is $40 per day with unlimited in and out valet service. I saw guests with pets too. We requested rooms with two queen beds and it was no problem. ...read more
