We had to change rooms as we were above the pool and the room was shaking from people running and jumping off the diving board. Our room was changed immediately, helpful staff to transfer our luggage and also a wonderful maintenance man to change light bulbs. minutes after we called down Understand the hotel is being refurbished. ...read more

Traveling as Couple
The hotel was in an ideal spot...within walking distance to restaurants, pubs and the water. Close to City Hall, we enjoyed the markets set up both days we were there. Shopping all close by.

Very nice place to stay on a budget when traveling for business or pleasure. Its central location means that you are within walking distance of the water, Queens University, shopping and very nice restaurants. The only drawback is that the hotel restaurant, which also delivers room service, closes very early. ...read more

Family with Young Children
While the staff is very friendly and helpful, the hotel was no better than an economy option. The decor in the public spaces (lobby and halls) was no better than an old-age home. The beds were comfortable but the furniture and bath reminded me of a holiday Inn - an old one. I expected much nicer accommodations and amenities for the price, seeing as it was the most expensive hotel in the area. ...read more

Traveling as Couple
This was my first time staying at this hotel, and I had mixed reviews. The hotel itself had great accommodations, very clean rooms, and comfortable beds. The underground parking garage was having issues reading room cards to let people in and out, and that was an inconvenience. The room service was less than stellar as well.
