Hotel Information
Located in the centre of Suceava in a quiet residential area, the High Class Hostel offers comfortable beds, free tea and coffee all day long and a beautiful garden with tulips and roses. There are also free cooking lessons for Romanian home-made dishes. High Class Hostel doesn't offer any meals, but you can shop for food and drinks in the nearby shops and prepare them in our kitchen. There are also inexpensive and good restaurants in the neighbourhood. Suceava has a great Etnographical Museum located in an 18th-century building that used to be an inn. The ruins of Suceava Fortress which date back to 1375 with a unique system of defense are worth seeing. The owner of High Class Hostel is also a well-known guide, as she was featured in the BBC Michael Palin programme and in the New Europe travel series. Guided trips to the unique painted monasteries, listed as UNESCO World Heritage Site, can be organised.
Room Information
At the hostel, rooms are shared: 4 to 6 beds in large rooms with plenty of space. Beds are bunk style with new Ikea mattresses. Some rooms have glassed in balconies where you can sit and relax. Bathrooms are shared, but they are very clean.
