Great location in downtown Austin with city skyline views. Close to many good restaurants on Barton Springs Rd. and South Congress Avenue.

Free food and drink was excellent.

Overall it is a great hotel. I like the free cocktails nightly and the free breakfast buffet in the morning with food cooked to order. In addition the location is excellent, easy to access downtown and the Barton Springs area. I would recommend this hotel to families and business travelers. ...read more

The only thing was that the bed was comfortable,

Couch was very uncomfortable!

The bed was the only thing that was comfortable. The couch looked like it was brought in from a garage sale...not becoming at all.
Their was trash on the outside of the rooms on both side of us, that is not what you want to see when you are walking into your room. ...read more

The hotel's proximity to Town Lake is a definite "plus".

I would prefer an outdoor pool.

The location and services provided by Embassy Suites Town Lake are excellent. Austin is a difficult city to find parking, but the hotel provides an adjacent parking garage so that there are no parking worries. The bedroom was located in the back of the room & you could not hear anything!

There was nothing to dislike at this hotel.

We were in town for a convention and had a great stay at this hotel. It was a nice walk to the convention (unless we took the dillo) center and we had great weater. When this show returns to Austin (it goes back and forth from Dallas to Austin) we will again be staying at this hotel. ...read more
