It is a modern yet peaceful setting with close proximity to corporate offices, Grand Central Station, the United Nations and popular shopping. Large rooms, friendly helpful staff.
Dated decor in rooms.

Largest room I've ever had in NYC. Good location. Friendly helpful staff. Great for families. The room decor is a little dated, but the rooms are clean. Nice to have a kitchenette.

Convenient, kitchenette came in handy.
Small; very basic.

Good for an in/out, if you simply need a place to stay that is fairly central in Manhattan and low budget. Staff was very friendly. Returned an item that could have been lost.

Large, spacious rooms; kitchen.
Decor and hallways need an upgrade.

Great location in Murray Hill, close to Grand Central. Nice quiet neighborhood. Lobby is tiny, but the rooms are very large suites. Ours included a kitchen and a pull-out sofa bed for the kids. Bathroom a bit on the small side, but clean and in good working order. Decor - carpet, drapes, etc. - could use updating. But a great hotel for the price. ...read more

Very friendly and informative staff! Good experience!
A bit dated but nothing to complain about!

We though we were paying a bit to much
for where were staying but we ended up with a Jr. Suite and loved it. This hotel exceeded our expectations and were very pleased with our stay. I would definitely stay here again on our next trip to NYC. ...read more

I've stayed in converted apartment buildings in Manhattan before. This one by far was the worst. Dumpy bathroom and room. terrible bed and bedding. There was just nothing I liked at all about this place. ...read more

Location and size of rooms.
Furniture.

The hotel is very conveniently located near grand central station. Suites are great for a group of people on a party weekend. Very convenient to have a fridge and a kitchen.

Priced right good location and access to everything nearby.

The price was right for the location and everything was just a short walk away, eg restaurants, drug store, etc.
