The Orlando Metropolitan Resort

At first I loved the hotel, I thought it was at a great location, my check in was with the hotel manager, he was super friendly and very helpful and welcoming, then I entered the room, everything seemed great, fine until I entered the bathroom and saw the shower, it was kind of dirty and there was no hot water and the shower did not spray sufficient water out, it seemed kind of clogged. We called the front desk they said they had a problem with the boiler room so we spent 4 days of cold showers which is even worst with 40 degree temperatures outside. They skipped one day on our room service had to call front desk for toilet paper had to wait 1 hour for them to bring it up stairs had to call twice. They messed up reservation, tried checking us out a day before our original checkout day, and parking was an inconvenience, so were the hotel elevators they didn't seem to work after 12am so we had to take 5 floors of stairs up and I also notice the hotel elevator inspection date was expired as of august 2009. ...read more

Great location and good deal for te price. I would most likely stay here again.

Hotel partnered with adjacent Radisson, restaurant was privately operated. Hotel gave vouchers with verbal usage descriptions which restaurant did not honor.

One of the elevators malfunctioned while I was in it. The room smelled awful.

The hotel was clean. The location is good. The room did not have a remote control. We tried multiples keys without success. Finally had to decide not to go out since we would be without a key to get in the room or wait for a staff member to come open the door. ...read more

The phone number provided was to the Raddison, so when we found out we had to drive around to the back to a different hotel, we felt like we had been swindled by the advertising. The hotel is not being maintained. ...read more

Great value, my room had 2 queen beds and as well as a pull out sofa bed. Decent size bathroom. Ironing board and a
mini fridge under the TV. AC available everything is just great. I highly recommend it. ...read more

The hotel was in a good location to the local parks and attractions (IE:Disney). The price was very good. For this price I only expected a good clean room and feel secure walking through the parking lot at night. The room was very dated and the standard of repair was fair and the use of cheap light bulbs just made the whole atmosphere very old feeling. The room was clean aside from stains on the towels from poor cleaning practices. The parking lot and hallways however were very poorly lit and the atmosphere was very dark and seedy feeling. Requested a late check out. Front desk staff were very rude. Went back to my room and the housekeeper said no problem. Stay until 4:00 P.M.
