Walking distance to University of Oregon. Helpful staff, decent breakfast. Wireless internet in lobby but no accessible from all rooms. Good value.

Traveling as Couple
I would recommend the Red Lion because it is close to the Portland airport, the room is very well appointed, the staff is very friendly and efficient.

Business Traveler
I'd have preferred to be further away from the college but it did not have an impact on my stay this time. Prices in this area because of the school are out of line with larger metro areas.

The front desk staff were so helpful. We had to call twice to get directions, and they were more than happy to help. The room was clean. They told me it was going through a renovation, however, I can't imagine that cleaning the carpet and filthy upholstery would have hurt them any.
