The Property is currently undergoing renovations.Hotel will be open and operating through the entire process!The Wyndham Palm Springs will be under renovation from May 1 - Dec 30, 2009. December through January the pool will be temporaily closed.Sleeping rooms will be removed for renovation and brought back on line in phases - approximately 90 rooms at a time. Noisy times will be between 10 AM and 4 PM, 6-7 days per week. We expect no disruption during the evenings. Rooms will be blocked in sections so that there will be very limited aesthetic issues on the guest floors. The Lobby will be out of service from Sept 1 - November 30. During this period, we will be utilizing renovated meeting space for our check-in and meal areas. "If you're part of a family you will love this place" for the "beautiful pool" and amenities, including an "awesome" kiddie basin, a Jacuzzi and cabanas, plus the location "blocks from the main street in Palm Springs"; "lovely from the exterior", it also sports "upgraded" rooms with mountain views, but those stuck in lesser quarters with "parking lot" vistas say the "mediocre" rooms have "gone to seed" (beds are like "cardboard"), and further complain that the "resort fee is highway robbery."

At a good location.
The hotel charge us extra resort fee. $10 a day. We were not informed in advance.
In general, the room is comfortable. However, the lobby is under reconstruction now. So the route from the lobby to the room and the packing lot is really bad.

Nice room.
The hotel was under major reconstruction. The star level was misleading given the mess..
Had a temporary lobby. Construction equipment and work in the parking area. Pool area a mess with no staff, bar, etc. (yet still charged a "resort fee"). Will be an OK hotel once construction is complete. ...read more

Pool area.
$10.00 resort fee. No towels at the pool. Took 40 minutes to get a towel.
On previous stays this hotel was excellent. It's not anymore. Dirty, worn out hotel with rude staff.
