In a "posh area" with "lots of restaurants" and "upscale boutiques" but a little "out of the way" from Downtown, this "classy, upscale" InterCon exudes "star quality" with its "luxe marble bathrooms" and "attentive and courteous staff"; "while not quite as fancy" as the nearby five-star options, the hotel goes "above and beyond expectations" of most guests, but critics point out that the "well-lit lap pool" is "quite small" and your bottom line may be affected by the "many extra charges."

Business centre costs and WiFi costs are high.
Hotel is a great hotel. I do feel that the business centre internet costs and WiFi costs are too high. WiFi should be included in cost of room.

Insufficient towels, no bathrobes and expensive computer costs.
Excellent hotel with very comfortable rooms. Would expect more bath towels in bathroom and one would have liked bathrobes in bathroom.

We love that our room overlooked the city. It was beautiful at night.
The showers stall was very small.
This hotel is located in the middle of the busy shopping area of Toronto, was perfect for our elegant anniversary celebration. The staff was excellent, the service was perfect and the SKY Lounge was fun for drinks and music after dinner. We would go there again in a heartbeat! ...read more

The Intercontinental Hotel Yorkville is conveniently located near museums, shopping and subways, minutes from the train station, just north of Downtown Toronto. The hotel is fairly small, with friendly staff at all hours. Beds are comfortable, the bathroom is large with separate shower and bath and internet access is available for a fee. ...read more
