Near I-55, a mile from Downtown but "feeling remote", this hotel "looks like an apartment complex" thanks to suites that sport their own entrances leading to "cozy" fireplaces, work spaces (but no wireless Internet) and full kitchens (chef types take advantage of the grocery-shopping service); but many feel the entire property is "old", "not well maintained" and in "dire need of a major renovation."

The bed was comfortable.
The drafty windows and doors, the roaches, the mildew on the ceiling, unkept overall appearance.
I arrived at night. The hotel looked nice. Upon further inspection I noted the run-down overall appearance of the entire place. The draft under the door and window are inexcusable.

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. It appeared to be well-kept with a good location - ten minutes from downtown and a couple of minutes from the interstate.

The bathroom was large.
Bad part of town.
Definitely not a 3-star hotel. I did not feel safe. We actually left the hotel within 30 minutes and opted to spend additional money at a separate hotel in a safer area of town.
