The (Red Rock) foothills are alive in Sedona, and hikers can gaze at them – and a golf course from this almost "all-inclusive" resort convenient to the great outdoors, Downtown and the airport; the "best part" is a selection of rooms that feature gas fireplaces and whirlpools, along with those "incredibly comfortable" Sleep Number beds, but points are lost when it comes to the "unattractive facade", "old" quarters and a few "run-down" facilities that need "better maintenance."

The staff was extremely helpful.

The standard room had a business-trip feel to it. However the staff upgraded us and the room with the spa was very nice and romantic.

Great concierge, good front desk staff.
It was like staying at a shabby old motel.

There were no private entrances, so each room opened up onto a sidewalk. I would never have agreed to stay in such a place had it actually been noted on the hotel information. Also, there was very little outside lighting, so I felt very unsafe all night. I was very disappointed. The only thing that made up for the substandard accommodations was a friendly and helpful staff. ...read more

Staff were friendly and professional.
This is a motel labelled as a resort. The swimming pool is uninviting .

No views of Sedona. Room has sticky stuff on the table. Poor lighting in the room, especially the bathroom. Staff were friendly and professional. No amenities such as a nice restaurant or nice pool. They do have a small golf course and a few tennis courts, which we didn't use. This should not be described as a resort when it's a basic, decent motel. Gene, in concierge, was friendly and helpful. ...read more

Location.
Old and over-rated.

Probably a nice resort in it's day, but old and out-dated, definitely should not be listed as resort.

Lounge was pretty boring.

Service was great from the start. Check was quick and host upgraded our room for our anniversary and sent a complimentary basket to our room in celebration of our special event. Dined in restaurant and service and food was awesome. Great views and very comfortable rooms. ...read more

The grounds were in good shape; service was good.
The rooms were tired. They put us on the backside of the hotel.

The concierge staff was great. I also enjoyed the refrigerator in the room.
The hot tub was broken.

The hotel had a beautiful view of the red rocks. Road construction leading into the hotel was annoying but the hotel was set back enough that it was not a problem. There was a separate building that housed the spa, which appeared nice. There is a pretty 9-hole par 3 course associated with the hotel. Tennis courts looked great. The rooms were comfortable and well appointed with a small porch opening onto the golf course. The hotel was clean and quiet with a decent restaurant on site. It somehow missed the luxurious feeling of a full resort however. ...read more
