At Lou Paradou you can enjoy more than an hectare of peaceful, quiet tree park with a south-facing outdoor swimming-pool where you can relax after your excursions. Nearby is an 18-hole golf course, hiking, gliding, white-water sports, mountain-biking, rock climbing and much more. Gréoux is surrounded by the most remarkable sites and spectacular geological formations such as Roussillon and its colourful ochres, the gorgeous Verdon Gorge (the largest canyon in Europe) and river, the beautiful lakes (Sainte-Croix, Esparron) with their many recreational possibilities, and the vast Valensole plateau, the largest in Europe, with its lovely, fragrant lavender fields blooming in early July and breathtaking panoramic views. Also close are the magnificent perched villages of the Luberon (Gordes, Bonnieux) and the Verdon Park (Moustiers-Ste-Marie, St-Julien), Romanesque Art (Ganagobie and Salagon monasteries), the 17th century Baroque or 18th century Classical architecture of Provence and the renowned music festivals (Aix-en-Provence for opera and La Roque d'Antheron, the largest piano festival in the world).
