Traveling as Couple
A person takes pot-luck in making an out-of-town reservation, and this hotel exceeded our expectations. The gracious grounds and balcony added to our enjoyment. The free breakfast was more complete than those usually offered. The hotel was accessible to the place we needed to be (Camp Shelby). The extra chairs in the room helped us watch football with my son, who is being deployed soon. The housekeeping staff was very friendly and helpful. Traveling as Couple
This hotel is very convenient to the University of MS. However, we did not receive the room type requested and had to stay in a smoking room. They did provide an air freshner and sprayed the room for us. Also, the bathroom was not clean. ...read more

Business Traveler
Disgusting! My hotel room was dirty. The bathroom had used shampoo and someones used soap still in the tub and hair! When I called the lobby to complain the host told me that a guest checked out at the last minute and they didn't have time to clean! ...read more

Family with Young Children
Generally clean with kind and helpful staff and a very nice breakfast area. Pool was dirty but nice for the kids, and I felt secure at the hotel.

Group Traveler

Over all our stay was good. The shower curtain needed to be changed it had a smell. Coffee pot needed to be in a different place. It was in the bathroom and there was not enough room for it there. This La Quinta was more than I expected. When we arrived we were very impressed by the quality of the rooms and the beauty of the hotel - and breakfast was very good.
