Candlewood Suites Wichita - Airport

We've stayed here several times in the past and liked it because of the room size and kitchen. With the Wal-Mart nearby, it's easy to pick up some basics and prepare some meals.

This is a no frills hotel. Cheap but I liked the location. A little out of the way (which I like) but very close to shopping, eating and airport (and only 8 to 10 minutes to downtown). I stayed at this hotel for 4 days. They had no maid service for the entire time. They had no coffee packets for the room. I will never stay at a Candlewood Suites again.

overall fine, easy access, spacious room but room was a smokers room previously by smell

I will definitely look for Candle wood Suites in future trips. It's be a great place to stay in Corpus Christi or anywhere.

Hotel was convenient and clean. Hotel had only weekly housekeeping. If you need/want a kitchen this is the hotel for you.

This hotel may be fine for travelers for a longer stay than one night as there's seldom a need for a kitchenette for a one night stay. If you are used to a hotel with two double or queen size beds this hotel is not a good choice. All rooms have only one bed. Wear earplugs to drown out noise from the AC, refrigerator, and ice maker, and perhaps bring an eye shade because of all the LED lighted digital clocks - one on the TV, on the microwave and the bedside alarm clock. Are these necessary? They do offer a selection of free DVD movies at the reception desk and don't charge Priceline guests for a roll-away bed. ...read more
