Hotel Information
The hotel is located on the quiet side of the river Rhine, nevertheless centrally situated in the 1000 year old small town of Stein am Rhein. The famous medieval Rathausplatz is only 2 minutes walk away. Stein has the most photogenic square in Switzerland with its splendid façades and murals on the buildings. The bank, supermarket, post office, boat station, railway station are all within 2 or 3 minutes walk.Whether you are cycling around Lake Constance, discovering Switzerland by train and boat, touring with the family or travelling as a group, you'll find you'll feel at home at our hotel. It is a great base for various activities and excursions.
Food & Beverage
Breakfast is served from 08:00 to 10:00. The restaurant and lounge bar is open from 09:00 to 14:00 and from 17:00 until late. The restaurant offers fresh, modern and internationally renowned Swiss specialities from Friday to Sunday. The restaurant is open between 11:30 and 14:00 and between 17.30 and 21:30. It is closed from Monday to Thursday.
Important Information
Since our house is over 600 years old and we are considerate of allergy-sufferers, the access to the rooms on the upper floor is only possible in slippers. You can bring your own or use the ones provided by us. There are reserved compartments for your shoes.
