Overall this hotel was wonderful! I had an initial problem with my first room but the hotel quickly took care to put me in a nicer room and give me a significant discount on an additional night I stayed. The rooftop bar is beautiful and a popular nightlife spot and the State and Lake restaurant is absolutely delicious; get the eggs Benedict for breakfast, they will blow your mind! ...read more

When the desk clerk said if we touched anything in the refrigerator we would be billed because it was computerized. "Otherwise we'd have to hire real human beings to count." We certainly wouldn't want that. The lobby is heavily scented, the birds, frogs and rooster sound effects in the lobby are a turn off. The light switch in the bath needed wiping off.
