Traveling as Couple
Hotel is very conveniently located to the GSU campus. Right next to the football stadium and only a short walk to anywhere on campus. Right off the bypass. Rooms were clean and well-equipped. Met my expectations for that price level. ...read more

Traveling as Couple
It was very clean and the bed was comfortable. However, the room was small and crowded with an cute extra chair and the micro-wave and fridge. The staff was super nice.

small dog staying across the hall was frequently barking thru the night. Not Enif sound insulation in the first floor. No shampoo or conditioner available, no sink stopper in the bathroom sink, The

Family with Young Children
We checked in on a Saturday afternoon for one night's stay. We were traveling with our 9 year old and a 22 month old. We requested two extra towels and two additional pillows since our king size bed only came with three very flat pillows. The front desk clerk told us there no more towels or pillows and that the hotel was not obligated to provided extras. She said the reason they were out was because they had a busy weekend. I never heard of that happening before - no more towels or pillows - at such a large chain hotel. ...read more

It was pretty nice. When we checked in the room was smelly so we called and they moved us to another room. The staff was very helpful.

The bed linens were very scratchy and cheap. The control panel on the AC unit was broken and the knobs were difficult to use. There was no shampoo provided. Location is great for Georgia Southern University visitors, but wish there were other options. Usually La Quinta is a very nice hotel, but this was the worst I've stayed in. Needs to be updated and freshened up to have a cleaner and more pleasant feel/appearance. ...read more
