Situated on the banks of the River Ouse, The Queens Hotel is ideally located for the many shops, restaurants and bars that the centre of York has to offer.The Queens Hotel is within easy walking distance of York Train Station and the National Rail Museum.Rooms are spacious and comfortable with classical decor. Some rooms have views over the river and all rooms have free wi-fi internet access.The Royal Brasserie is a relaxing place to dine, serving breakfast and dinner to guests.

Food & Beverage
The Royal Brasserie serves dinner daily between 18:00 and 21:00. We serve a selection of traditional and modern dishes.Although some of the rates are on a room only basis, our restaurant is open daily for breakfast from 07:30 until 09:30 Monday to Friday, and 10:30 at weekends.

spacious room with window, huge bathroom, clean, friendly staff

no air conditioning

Read some bad reviews online but was very happy with this hotel. Was about a 10 min walk to the train station but it was on the river and just accross the bridge was the city center. The staff were extremely friendly and the breakfast was great. Was a little disappointed that there was no air conditioning but the weather turned out to be pleasant enough that it would not have been needed anyway. I will definitely return to this hotel when I come back to York. ...read more
