Area Information
Penafiel is located in the heart of the Ribera Del Duero wine region. During your stay a trip to the Medieval Castle/Valladolid Wine Museum is well worth it. You can also visit stunning interesting monuments such as the Santa MĒ de Valbuena Monastery, Santa MĒ de Retuerta Abbey or the Pintia Archaeology Museum.The area is also fantastic for outdoor pursuits. The picturesque Cuco Valley is a fantastic backdrop for walking and there are a number of footpaths.
