Plaza Beach Hotel

Plaza Beach Resort is a great resort for anyone. It is a low-key, charming beach resort. The resort is secluded by two large condos on each side, so the beach in front of the resort is as private as it gets. The only people on the beach were the other guest of the hotel, and there were very few because the hotel is a small resort. If you are looking for a large scale resort with valet parking, concierge, room service, than it is not your place. But if you are looking for a place were you can just getaway from everything and go to a traditional smaller hotel were the beach is only steps away from your room and you feel like it¿s your beach and a few other peoples than the Plaza Beach Resort is you place. There are no large crowds, no beach bar, no drunks running down the hallways, just you, the beach and the beautiful sunsets. The rooms are also nice with all the amenities of home, like a full kitchen, big 32TV, DVD player, sofa, etc. The staff was great and everything was in walking distance. Great beach access, pool accommodations.

I was pleasantly surprised with the Plaza Beach. It had that Old Florida feel to it, which ended up being quite charming. The location was awesome - I mean, it was on the beach! The Plaza Beach is not a 5 Star Luxury Hotel - if that's what one is looking for, go else where. The Plaza Beach is a great place to stay if you are looking for easy access to area attractions. I 275 is just around the corner, which is a main artery to the Tampa/St. Pete/Sarasota attraction areas. I would definitely return for an extended beach stay to this hotel. The Plaza Beach Resort on St Pete Beach was great, it was everything we hoped for any more. Our room had a King size bed with a kitchen. The kitchen had a full size fridge, microwave oven, coffee maker, toaster, glass top cook top, and all the utensil need to prepare a meal. Enjoyed the large pool and all the chairs and chaises around the pool and beach area. The location was perfect, all the restaurants were in walking distance, the grocery store was just across the street, you don't need a car while you stay here. There were many free amenities as well, like free parking, free wifi, free pool towels, free DVD movies, free beach cabana's, free fishing poles for guest and a few other things that I can't recall at the moment. All and all we were very impressed and enjoyed the hotel, it reminded us of a tradition Florida resort, more like a small Key West beach resort which are harder and harder to find these day. The Plaza Beach Resort Hotel was definitely a wonderful experience. It was clean, well taken care of, and very relaxing.
