I won this hotel through a Priceline. I was pleasantly surprised with Extended Stay Bakersfield. The service was friendly, the room was clean, the kitchen was well equipped. Spartan but comfortable. friendly and helpful staff. Stay on the front or parking lot side. The back side is too dark and scary.

Cleanliness was not one of their best things. The bathroom was not very clean, hairs in the tub, food on the side of the walls, carpet was had stains like crazy, bed was very comfortable, linen, towels and dish cloths should be in the trash. I will never stay again in this hotel.

There were some things I didn't like and should have checked out before I arrived. The coffee pot that is provided in the room was only 4 cups. It was ok but I still had to go and get some more. The hotel only provides enough coffee, sugar and creamer for one maybe two cups; I did have to go buy my own. Overall it was fantastic except for getting bit by a spider that has left me with a cold but I would totally stay there again. The area was fantastic. The staff was great and very friendly; I would stay there again for the price. It wasn’t very fancy though it was clean. I wish they had more amenities in the room though.

Was greeted by friendly staff, room clean and although it was close to both the freeway and an small amusement facility it was quiet in the room.

I didn't like the hotel at all so I went and spent the extra money to go rent a totally different hotel room.
