Overview of California Othon Classic

Situated mid - point the gentle curve of Copacabana Beach, California Othon enjoys a privileged location in relation to the surrounding commercial in the city. Within easy reach, a few steps away from the hotel the guest can find an enormous variety of shops, souvenir places and a variety of malls for clothing, shoes and amenities. From May 24th to July 10th, all bookings will have an automatic up-grade to a sea view room. We offer a free shuttle service from the airport to the hotel (08:00 to 18:00)and hotel to the airport 07:00 to 17:00. To use this service you will need to reserve it before hand to see if we have availability. We will require the following information to reserve the shuttle service: Flight number and company, time of arrival,name of airport and which hotel you have a reservation at. From the period between 25DEC to 03JAN, Hotel require full prepayment either on cc or via Paytell with 30 days prior to arrival CCD policy otherwise Hotel will not hold the room. Cancellations must be 30 days before check in date to avoid any penalty. Payments received are non refundable. In case of cancellation after due date or no show we will charge for the entire package period, as stated on the minimum length of stay. New Years Package 2006/2007 - from 20.Dec to 02.Jan.2007, a valid credit card is required to full prepayment with 45 days prior to arrival CCD policy - full policy, otherwise hotel will not hold the room. • " The location was great. The room was very quiet. The price was cheap compared to other hotels. The staff was friendly but non responsive to my complaint about the a/c not working in my room. The bath tub was badly stained and the bath tub curtain had a lot of mildew. The sheets on the bed were so thin that I could see the mattress through the sheets. "

• " If you are looking for a hotel to stay in during your visit, I highly recommend the California. It's not the Ritz, but it's not the pits, either. The rooms are not fancy - but who goes to Rio for the hotel room? I enjoyed my entire stay, although the phone calls were pretty pricey. "
