• " It was Thanksgiving weekend in Collingwood - a time for families to travel to be together. However, it should not have served as a license for people to abuse the hotel facilities nor should breakfast be an all-morning affair for these individuals. We came down at about 9:30 - there was no place to sit and most of the food had been eaten. The staff was trying to keep up with the demand and was finally able to put out another shift of food. There was abuse in the amounts of food taken from the buffet and not eaten - left on the tables without tidying - therefore noise and mess was the order of the morning! We did not complain to the hotel staff - as this was not their fault; it was due to the people not knowing their place and using common sense in their interpretation of free breakfast. In hindsight, the hotel should have had staff diverted to this area for assistance to the staff who was trying to cope. "
