• " The Hotel Urdinola is a great colonial experience. Currently (July 2008), the road in front of the hotel is under construction. It is not a modern, super clean hotel, but great for travelers desiring an authentic colonial experience with an ideal location near the Plaza de Armas & helpful staff. I also recommend visiting the restaurants Flor y Canela & Gitanos (late night) just South of the Zeus fountain on the West side of the Palacio del Gobierno. "

• " Our bed squeaked. The shower had mold in the wide corner joints. The floor wasn't very clean. The price was low enough & the bed sheets were clean. It does have potential. With a significant investment & upgrade it could utilize its colonial charm. "
