Overview of Hyatt Regency Acapulco

A 23 story high rise deluxe beach front resort hotel, known as having the largest hotel rooms in Acapulco, most with a large balcony, and most with a spectacular view over the splendid Acapulco Bay and it's surrounding mountains. Each of the hotel's 645 guest rooms are air-conditioned and the hotel has its own water purification system. Hotel opened in October 1971. The hotel was renovated in 1997.

• " The location is superb, right on the bay with a beach. The bay's water is somewhat dirty, however. The tours we took were all wonderful and cheaper than Princess Cruise's prices for the same tours. Food was great if you can afford it. There is a small fridge in the room stocked fully so we pulled out the supplies and put our own food for breakfast in it (not allowed, but we did it). It's close to Wal-Mart which has Internet "cafe", Subway, groceries, etc. The gold zone begins at the Hyatt and all restaurants there are safe. The ones we went to were always very good. Hotel has a special buffet daily. We tried the Italian and liked it very well. "
