• " Hotel was nice. But, I had to take a taxi to the airport for my flight since the shuttle didn't start running until 8 am. "

• " We arrived at the airport at 11:30pm, called the hotel and were told that the shuttle quit running 15 minutes earlier, that we would need to take a taxi for 30 euros. Ouch. Upon check-in we asked when the shuttle started in the morning. We needed to leave at 7:30am. The shuttle didn't start until 8am. Very frustrating. We expressed our discontent and the front desk person said he would try to work something out. Upon waking in the morning we were told there would be a shuttle at 7:30am. We had a kitchen worker take us to the airport. She had never driven the shuttle before and said she was &quot;practicing.&quot; She told us the hotel had a &quot;big problem,&quot; that they had been robbed at gunpoint earlier that morning. It was a very strange experience. <BR/> <BR/> "

• " Great hotel for business travel. Shuttle service to airport was efficient. Staff was friendly. Room was exceptionally clean. Bed was very comfortable. Excellent value for the price. "

• " Although the hotel has Schiphol in it's name, it is a long way from the airport, and a very expensive taxi ride. Also, we arrived late, and the restaurant was no longer open for anyone except KLM employees. So, they sat the man in front of us, but refused to seat us as we were not with KLM. The difference in attitude toward us was very different from the attitude toward KLM employees. "

• " The hotel is very clean and neat. The staff is friendly. However, the hotel does not offer free shuttle back to the airport and it is not close to anything (including a bus or train system). Also, like most European hotels, the rooms are small and there is a charge (12 euros) for internet (you can use the computer at the front desk for a few minutes at no charge). There is a rail system that takes about 10-15 minutes to walk to, but it only goes to the city center. "
