It is located in the heart of the Madrilenian district of Chamberi, very near the Paseo de la Castellana and also, well known for the exquisite mansions built by the Spanish nobility at the end of the 19th Century. Following the death of the Duke, his heirs rented out the mansion to various countries, the most recent occupant being the Embassy of Philippines.Nowadays, the mansion's library remains intact and has been converted into the renowned Santo Mauro restaurant. The ballrooms with large windows that lead to the garden are also original. The hotel has a splendid 700m2 garden where one can find some of the oldest chestnut trees in Madrid. During summer it becomes an extension of our restaurant and it becomes a very popular dinner venue for both pleasure and business purposes.
