Not many bonuses or luxuries at this hotel - tidy/comfy room but dirty windows and noise from neighboring rooms. Breakfast included, but not very good. Internet access only available at astronomical rates. Hotel is (in summer 2008) adjacent to an enormous urban construction zone. Somewhat removed from the city center and restaurants, the area around this hotel is deserted at night.

Overall we had a good experience however, there was a fire alarm in the morning (legitimate, basement fire) and there did not seem to be enough organized control outdoors when it came to informing the masses. The loudhailers did not seem to work and people could not hear enough to be sufficiently informed.

Needs a new GM: the staff, from start to finish and from all departments, were uniformly inept, unhelpful and unaccommodating. Not up to Marriott or 4 star standards and a pretty depressing place to be.

Excellent for the money, clean and tidy. Other than the toilet tissue being very rough, it was perfect.

Clean, well lit, modern, upscale hotel near the heart of Bristol. Within 10-15 minutes walking distance to Bristol Temple Meads train station and within 10-15 minutes walking distance to the bus station. Friendly staff and responsive service. A restful stay for weary travelers.
