The hotel was not in a very nice area, the only good thing about it was the bed was comfortable. It was a king size non smoking room. Even the non smoking room kind of smelt like smoke.

When I first got to the hotel, didn't think much of it but figured for the price it was fine. I was surprised once I got into the room to find it was fairly much updated and clean with a couch as well. I therefore thought not bad for the money. I sat on the couch and watched TV for a while and then decided to climb into bed to watch TV from there. I must have leaned against the headboard wrong or something when all of a sudden tit fell off the wall on one side and if someone would have been lying in the bed on that side, it would have hit them in the head. I thought this was a little weird but figured it could happen and therefore tried to put the headboard back up. It was then I realized it was sort of tacked onto the wall to hide an old light switch that had been taken out but not sealed over. Again thinking really classy but oh well I am turned and just want to go to sleep. I therefore tried to turn on the light next to the bed and realized neither it nor the clock was plugged in. I searched and found the plug was behind the bed and therefore plugged the clock in. It was then that sparks started coming out of the outlet so I immediately unplugged the clock and tried to just get some sleep. Every little noise kept waking me up thinking it was something else in the room that was going wrong. Finally at 2 AM I gave up on the idea of sleep and just left figuring it was safer to just sleep in my truck then in the room. It was definitely the worst experience I have ever had in any hotel room. If the other rooms are anything like this, the place is a serious safety hazard and the company needs to go through and check it out before some really gets hurt.

Ok for 1 night as close to interstate for traveling. Not recommend for more than 1 night as not any restaurants to eat at nearby and smelly room.

Located practically under the I-10 overpass, this hotel is one you want to spend as few hours as possible in.
