In the summer of 2006- it will also become the home to Hotel Casa 425.Hotel Casa 425 is being constructed on the new public town square- in the Claremont Village Shopping and Dining District. The inn will feature a Spanish colonial look inside and out- initially with 29 guest rooms- offering guests a lodging option currently unavailable in the region. Hotel Casa 425 is designed around a central courtyard- an outdoor living room featuring a tranquil fountain- gardens- outdoor fireplace and lounge seating areas. The lobby and dining room will flow into this same open space. All guest rooms will feature private baths with oversized soaking tubs and separate showers; most will have cabanas opening to the courtyard. All rooms will have flat screen televisions with DVD/CD players and wireless Internet access. Four premier rooms will have a jetted spa tub. Guests will also enjoy an expanded continental breakfast featuring renowned pastries from a local bakery. Guests will also have use of the on-site fitness room. In addition to welcoming individual leisure or business travelers- Hotel Casa 425 will be an ideal site for receptions- small meetings and events. It will also be the perfect base for Claremont Colleges visiting alumni- parents and lecturers.

• " The entire hotel and the rooms were poorly maintained. Also, the staff while friendly seemed entirely unwilling to do anything about the issues we had (broken shower, broken tub in 2 separate rooms, etc.). The staff was always smiling, but completely unmoved by the fact that our vacation was terrible. <BR/> "
