• " The hotel was very clean and the staff was helpful. The room was small but well-appointed and the price was great. I will definitely stay here again. But I wear earplugs in motels, and with the trolley line and freeway very close that was probably a good idea. "

• " Many cleaning and repair issues. Price was ok. The space was very tight. You can tell it use to be a nice motel. The deluxe breakfast was a joke, fruit was old and they ran out of things. Staff was nice & helpful about 50% of the time. "

• " The location was great and close to Sea World and the Zoo (Approx 16 miles). The carpet in the rooms doesnt look dirty, but were. Had to wash the little ones feet after they played around in the room. Put socks on. Other than that the room was clean (Bathroom /beds/Etc.) and I would stay there again. The pool was very nice and very well maintained. They need a designated smoking area for those who smoke, because the smokers hang out in front of their rooms and you have to walk through the smoke. I had to tell my kids to hold their breath as we walked buy. "

• " This is my second stay here, due to my grandfather's passing. It is conveniently located one mile from the trolley station into San Diego. There is nothing next to, or behind the hotel, so it is a peaceful place. The rooms are about half the price of a hotel in San Diego, and you actually get 2 rooms for one price. The suite is a living room with fold out queen bed, and it's own bathroom and TV. The bedroom is separated by a door and it has 2 queens, it's own bathroom fridge and microwave. You could not ask for a better staff, they always tell you hello, answer any questions, and seem like they are happy to be there. The breakfast is delicious including my favorite, waffles. I actually felt at home here, which was important considering the circumstances. "
