• " This motel was a building straight out of the 1950's. It was off an isolated road; it was surrounded by unattractive trailers and trashy yards; and it had almost no view of Clear Lake. The entrances to the rooms had no protection from the elements. The design of the building was also not people friendly. There was no elevator, and the only accesses to the second floor were outside staircases on opposite sides of the building. Also, there was no walk through in the center of the building, so if you wanted to go to the pool, you had to walk completely around the building. The pool area itself was too small to accommodate all of the people there. There were exactly six chaise lounges, and four chairs around one dining table in a small fenced in pool area. At one point on the Saturday afternoon we were there, there were twenty-five people in the pool area. What a zoo! When we first registered, we were given a smoking room - even though I had requested a non-smoking one. The first room absolutely reeked of smoke. After complaining about these accommodations, we were given a smoke-free room. There was not enough light in the room, even when we turned all of the lights on. The light in bathroom came on sporadically - it did not come on every time we flipped the switch. The bath tub rim was much too high for me. I almost tumbled in the tub every time I tried to use it. On a positive note - the room was unbelievable clean. "

• " I was extremely unhappy with this hotel. There were Nets outside and inside our room. We were not able to sleep because we where getting attacked my mosquitoes or Nets. I do not recommend this hotel. "

• " For a newer hotel, the quality is not that great. Fixtures, carpet, lighting, etc. was poor quality. Hotel is hard to find and there are not any decent quality restaurants nearby. "
