• " I loved this place. It was quiet. The fire places overlooking the ocean were fantastic. No A/C so it was a little warm. I did get to fall asleep to the sound of the waves crashing. The restaurant was very good and they were very accommodating to provide take-out breakfast for us in the morning. "

• " Seemed to be the best of the bunch for this location. Would like it if there were more shops (they all close at 5) open later and restaurants to choose from. It is close to Cambria, though, which is a very quaint little town with a lot more to do. So either take the drive to Cambria or stay there. San Simeon only exists because of the Hearst Castle. "

• " This hotel is in a great location for visiting the hearts castle. Right on the ocean. Fire pits on the sand were a nice extra. Room was a little dreary dark furniture and carpeting. Bathroom just okay. Desk clerk was very nice and friendly. Asked for a king bed; got two queens. "
