• " We really enjoyed our stay at the Oceania. We will return with our teenage daughter in the spring. The staff was very nice. There was a $10.00 charge for parking each day; when I informed the front desk at check-out that we had to park on the street the last two nights (weekend), they rescinded the charges. The breakfast room was very nice and the food was fresh and plentiful. We recommend this hotel. "

• " The Oceana is a hotel situated near the Pacific Ocean where you can hear the surf crashing from your hotel room. The rooms are well-appointed; mine had a comfortable bed, plenty of room for storage of clothing, and a great flat-screen TV; but no chair. Hotel staff was friendly and courteous, and the complimentary continental-plus breakfast buffet was amply stocked. The coffee was great, and they even offered a waffle/omelet bar. The main drawback was lack of privacy when the windows were open, and it was a beautiful day. Both the bathroom window and the front window opened on to common areas. "

• " The Hotel Oceana has a great beach-front location and is convenient to State Street and Stearn's Wharf. The rooms are comfortable with high quality bedding, flat screen TVs, free WiFi connectivity, and a mini fridge. The complimentary breakfast is excellent and goes beyond the standard by offering made to order omelettes. On the negative side, room service is not available, ice machines are nowhere to be found, and the pools are not easily accessible from all rooms. "

• " This hotel was enjoyable. The room was small, but fine for two people. The decor was very chic and fun. The room was clean, though the armoire smelled funny. Nice quality sheets and toiletries. The in-room snacks (candy, beef jerky, etc) that were provided were appreciated, but they were severely overpriced. The hotel location was excellent. I would definitely stay again. "
