The Hilton Hartford is connected to the Hartford Civic Center via a skywalk which provides the hotel guests access to outstanding sports and cultural and consumer show events. Upon completion of the Hartford Civic Center refurbishments, hotel guests will also have convenient access to the new Civic Center shops. This connection allows the hotel to accommodate large conventions and utilize the Civic Center for exhibits and large banquet events. Accommodations include 392 guestrooms and 11 beautifully appointed suites, many of which over look the renowned State Capital building. The hotel boasts three executive level floors that have upgraded amenities and a private lounge serving a scrumptious complimentary continental breakfast (Monday-Friday) and hors d'oeuvres and desserts in the evening (Monday-Thursdays) in the evening. Every guestroom offers an array of personal amenities such as a coffee maker, iron/board, and all are equipped with dual-line telephones with private voice mail and high speed internet access. When its time to exercise, the hotel features an indoor pool, fully equipped state-of-the-art fitness center with the latest in cardiovascular and weight training equipment, and whirlpool and sauna. Morty & Ming's, the hotel's full-service restaurant, serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner is open until 10:00 PM, Sunday through Thursday, and 11:00 PM, Friday and Saturday. • " This hotel is perfect for those wanting to access nightlife in Downtown Hartford. It is within walking distance to just about everything. The hotel itself is clean and the rooms are comfortable, although the beds are small and there was a piece of our ceiling that was falling down. The staff leaves something to be desired. They are just not the friendliest, nor do they go above and beyond the call of duty - in fact, most of the time they fall just short of their duties. All in all, if you are looking for a clean, safe hotel in Downtown Hartford, within walking distance to everything, and don't mind a little hostility from the hotel staff, I would recommend the Hilton Hartford. "
