• " This hotel was ideal for location, right off the highway and having the Metro underneath. The rooms were nice and the beds were comfortable. The staff however was so unprofessional and their customer service skills were non existent! They really ruined our stay and were actually rude at times. The room was not serviced until I complained at 3 pm in the afternoon! I was questioned when I asked for a morning News paper/other hotels I have stayed in usually deliver one under your door in the morning. My son and I had not seen each other for a year as he lives in Africa and this was our special time together. For such a lovely hotel it is a shame that the staff was so miserable. "

• " Overall, a great hotel for walking to tourist attractions like the Smithsonian and monuments. Also convenient Metro stop adjacent to hotel. Accommodations are pleasant and beds were quite comfortable. Staff was helpful and pleasant. "

• " Perfectly located for sightseeing. also, the Metro made a rental car unnecessary. Pool left a lot to be desired, with a young child who wanted to swim all night otherwise, fantastic. "

• " The hotel was upscale and staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were nice and the beds were soft. Pillows were extremely fluffy and comfortable after a long day of sight seeing. The rooms have a balcony with a decent view of the landmarks, except for the construction. Walking distance to Smithsonian Museums and right above the Mall. "
