• " We loved our spacious room and the bed was fantastically comfortable. Everything was extremely clean and we loved the separate toilet/shower/bath. The fixtures, doors, electronics and furniture in general were luxurious for 1975. Nothing was broken, I just felt like I was in a time warp! With some minor improvements, this hotel could go from nice to fabulous in a snap. I did love the view of the boat harbor and the giant picture window that opens all the way was incredible! It completely made up for the lack of a lanai. Staff was friendly and the common areas were very nice. Overall, a wonderful stay. "

The pool which we consider a central amenity appeared as an afterthought from understaffing, out of control children, towel shortages, shading, and availability of food, drinks and short hours of availability. <BR/> "

• " The management staff is doing something right here. Every single employee we encountered either in person, or on the phone seemed to be eager to make our stay a very pleasant one. The rooms were a little dated, but very clean and the location was very central and convenient. "

• " The view was great but the room was not. Paint chipping off the door frames and window sill was definitely not up to 4 star standards. Check in attendants could have been more informative. We had no idea there was a free shuttle service offered. "
