A low level property for a cheap stay, a little out of the way, older beds but rooms equipped with a microwave and refrigerator, both of them clean and working, smaller, older televisions with no working remote. Kind of rough clientele, nice rural neighborhood.

The section of rooms I stayed in was in a remote location where it didn't feel safe. The door, when shut, still had approx. A 1/2 inch of wiggle room. The window had a section of glass missing that was replaced with plywood. The linoleum in the bathroom was grossly stained from water leaks and nesting birds outside the room chirped all night long. It was long overdue for remodeling or destruction. I would never stay there again!

When we arrived around 1 am, the clerk informed us he had good news and was giving us a Jacuzzi sweet. I would not have climbed into that NASTY thing for any amount of money. There were dead flies all over the room and the walls around the "Jacuzzi" were exploding with mold! Not to mention that the ceiling over the bed was collapsing. My wife would not even take off her jacket in the room. We slept on top of the blankets fully dressed and I couldn't bring myself to even remove my shoes in there. I understand that this was a (supposed) 1 star hotel and we wanted to go economy, but trust me y'all, spend the extra $25 and get yourself a place you can sleep without being sick to your stomach.
