Guest Reviews of Marriott Louisville Downtown
"In the past I had always stayed at the Hyatt Downtown. This property exceeded the expectations I had become accustomed to while staying in Louisville. The Marriot Downtown is a very nice weekend getaway or business friendly location. Property is located within a short walking distance to a huge variety of restaurants, entertainment, and riverside attractions. One disappointment was the earlier than normal check out time of 11 AM and no option for a later checkout. Our room was a corner room with magnificent views of the city. I will definitely stay at this property again when I return to Louisville for either business or pleasure. Major attributes include: decor, friendly staff, excellent room service menu, dedicated parking garage, location."

"The Marriot in Downtown Louisville is located near a predominant night spot where I was going to celebrate my birthday."

"Had it not been for our room location, this would have been a great hotel stay. It really is a very nice hotel, very clean, friendly staff, classy. But we were put in a corner room on the sixth floor that appears to have very poor sound insulation. Not only did we hear street traffic all night, including sirens, but there was a large night club across the street from us (6 Clubs in one block or something like that). We had to listen to the music and base till after 3 AM. It turned a great experience into a night of sleeplessness."
