• " An older property but well maintained. They are going the extra mile to stand out in a crowded local hotel market: free bag of snacks in the room on check-in; custom pillows available free on request; upgraded linens and bowed shower curtain rods; free wireless internet and will deliver your selections from the free continental breakfast bar to your room at no charge. Our room had a small refrigerator and microwave also. Very convenient to all Traverse City attractions and Northwestern Michigan College. "

• " I really enjoyed our stay; most (positive) thing about our stay was the friendliness of the staff from the desk clerks to housekeeping and maintenance. The most (negative) aspect was the fact that I am partially disabled and have to use a cane or walker to move around. Since our room was on the second floor and all the way at the end of the building it really hurt to climb the stairs and walk to the room. I do not fault the hotel at all; they were not aware of my physical limitations until we arrived, but then offered to carry our bags to our room. Secondly, the Jacuzzi: super loud, wife could only use it about 15 minutes then she got a severe headache from the noise/whine of the motor. I couldn't use it at all because I feared that I wouldn't be able to get out because there were not any sort of handrails to assist me. "

• " For years, we have stayed at this hotel whenever we visit the area. We keep returning because of the consistent quality and the excellent location. They have several spa rooms which are always nice and very clean. We did try the new free, full breakfast and found it very disappointing. The hot food (eggs & sausage) were bland and unappealing. However, there are a couple of very nice restaurants nearby with excellent breakfast offerings. We have recommended this hotel in the past and will continue to do so in the future. "
