Days Inn Gulfport

The staff was very friendly. The room was a bit old fashioned and out of date (the bedspreads specifically). It was in a great location and
I was disappointed that it
was not across the street from the ocean.
Overall, I was very satisfied with our stay.

Hotel was mainly filled with extended stay construction workers, parking lot full of construction trailers and such. Not much room to park. Pool area was a joke.

Fair warning. This is not the typical Days Inn - economy stay. We stayed one night on business, and would never go back. We rode a dirty elevator to the 2nd floor, and located our dirty room. The first glance revealed the ant traps in the tiny bathroom which were apparently for the cockroaches that we noted on the floor, the sink, and the walls near the bed. The ceiling was sagging, and needed repair. We would have asked for a room change, but we were afraid it could get worse. Pay the extra money for a cleaner hotel, I know I will.

The air conditioning in our room was out when we got there but the hotel maintenance man replaced the entire unit as soon as we mentioned the problem. The staff was friendly and helpful.

This hotel is not kept up to standards. The lobby was nasty and the beds were too uncomfortable.
