Guest Reviews of Marriott Kansas City Downtown
"Rooms were clean and spacious. Bed was comfortable. I did not like being stuck across the street from the main portion of the hotel. It doesnt feel like the safest neighborhood at night. With another person, it is better. It is close to the Sprint Center and Power and Light District for entertainment."

"A very good location in the middle of downtown Kansas city. Although the room seemed average, the bed was very comfortable. Staff was very friendly and I enjoyed my stay there very much."

"Good buy for dollars spent."

"The hotel itself is nice. The area is quite scary after dark. There were people throwing huge rocks at cars, fighting, screaming at police, and jumping into the backs of cars and driving away before the police could catch them. The heat did not work; it simply blew cold air around. When we checked out, they checked us out as the wrong room. Otherwise, the hotel room was nice. It was well decorated, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The view of Kansas city is excellent, but unfortunately scary at the same time! If it was in a different area, I would consider going back."

"Overall, it was a wonderful place to stay. It had an awesome location and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The only minus to it was when we got back in our car, the driver's side window was off track. I had a band-aid over that particular switch because I knew I needed to get it fixed. The valet person acted as though nothing had happened, when clearly he knew what was done, the band-aid had been removed and completely discarded. It wasn't a big deal though, to me, because I knew there was a problem with it. He should have mentioned it though and not acted so oblivious to what he had done. The rest of the stay was fabulous!"
