• " For the price I felt like the least I deserved was a quick swim in the pool. We waited for a long time in the lobby till they left only to find out that the pool was infested with billions of mosquitoes. There was no chlorine in the stinky slimy water, and no bug control of any kind. Pool pump was not even on. Everything else in the little town closes early so there was nothing for us to do but hang out in the hotel. Which was supposed to have in-room movies not that either. Breakfast foods were picked over and the only healthier offering (fruit) they had was gone. I asked for more to be answered with a sharp, no, we don't have anymore. I have stayed at much nicer resort. And I didn't come home scratching like mad trying to gain some relief from all of the mosquito bites. Speaking of scratching. Someone had a dog in the hotel that barked insistently every time anyone would walk by the room and every time a phone in the hotel would ring. "
