• " This is a beautiful hotel with a very professional and serving staff. We did have a problem with the air conditioning not working right so the hotel took $75.00 off our bill. We loved being able to walk to the local area eateries and shops. The restaurants and bars in the Hotel are very nice and the food and drinks excellent. The room was clean but could of used a little more dusting. We did enjoy our stay. "

• " One of the grand hotels of St. Louis, recently renovated. Growing up in St. Louis, I think it part of the historical psyche of folks who couldn't afford to stay there in their younger years. Exceeded my expectations. "

• " Great size room (suite) with kitchenette suitable for long term stay, construction noise started at 8 am constant pounding, they said bathrooms being enlarged. Two other people in restaurant for breakfast, yet slow service. Television was 1980's vintage and poor reception, limited channels. Not up to snuff for four star. "
