This is a very nice hotel in a very bad neighborhood. The staff is friendly and helpful, but the location is a definate drawback.

I was bit by bedbugs, having to destroy most of my clothing I brought and being forced now to spend as much as the hotel cost on new clothing.

The area is very rough, graffiti, homeless, drunks and drug addicts hanging around, the subway is right above ground at the edge of the hotel and very loud. Ear plugs are a must to sleep. No food in the hotel and no eatery nearby to walk. They did have a few menus to call for delivery. The free breakfast was nice but crowded, the rooms were clean and well maintained but the door had a large crack between the door jam and needed at least 1/2 inch to fill it, the doors closed very loudly. The TV was nice and the bed was great. I had the queen non smoking which was exactly what I asked for. The price was certainly good.

Although the quality of the room was fine, the location was terrible given the abandoned, boarded up and vandalized buildings beside it and on the other side the metro tracks with trains running literally 20 feet outside our window every 8 minutes all night long. Would never stay here again.
